Gingerwood Pool Early Registration Sunday

Early registration for Gingerwood Pool will take place Sunday, May 3 from 10 am. to 2 p.m.

The pool at 5130 Aldersyde Rd. is open only to Oak Forest residents, at a fee of $175 for family of five, and $10 for each additional member (must live in the same household). Once early registration ends, fee family fee increases to $200. Cash or check only. Must bring proof of residency. Individual members can sign up for $100, or seniors (65 years and old) for $100.

Punch cards will also be available during early registration, at a price of $50 for 10 visits, good throughout the season, for use by 1–10 people.

The pool is also holding a clothing drive for the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago during the registration. Donations of clothing, shoes, purses, accessories along with household items and games will be accepted, and tax receipts will be distributed.

The pool’s opening weekend is tentatively set for June 6. Hours of operation are Sunday through Saturday, 12 to 8 p.m.
