Granite City to Hold Fundraiser in May to Help Boy With Cancer

The restaurant will donate a portion of its sales from May 27-31 to a fund that helps family pay for 7-year-old's treatment.

Granite City Food & Brewery in Orland Park is taking part in a fundraiser this month to help a 7-year-old’s family pay for his cancer treatment.

Jack Solomon was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia and has been receiving chemotherapy treatments in the hospital for the past six to eight weeks.

From Wednesday, May 27, to Sunday, May 31, Granite City Food & Brewery, 14035 S. La Grange Road, will participate in Jack Solomon Dine 2 Donate. During that time, the restaurant will donate 20 percent of the sales of dine-in and to-go orders to a fund set up for Jack. Customers can print out and bring the flier or mention the fundraiser to their server for the donation to be made.
