Heavy Police Presence At Oak Forest Home Amid ‘Planned Operation’: PD

OAK FOREST, IL — Oak Forest police and FBI agents are on scene at an Oak Forest house executing a “planned” operation, the City said Wednesday morning.

The operation in the 15100 block of Chaucer has been underway since the early morning, with flash bangs and loudspeakers used at the scene.

Witnesses nearby report authorities stating they have a warrant and commanding the home’s residents to come out with their hands up. Helicopters have also been spotted circling the scene.

A heavy police presence is expected to continue for hours, the City advised. Residents are asked to avoid the area.
