Help Send Oak Forest High School Business Qualifiers to National Competition

The students are raising funds for a national competition to be held in California.

Several ambitious, business-minded students from Oak Forest High School are trying to take their skills to a national stage, but they need your help.

Oak Forest High School Business Professionals of America has had 10 qualifiers for Nationals—to be held in Anaheim, California—this year. Business Professionals of America is the leading CTSO (Career and Technical Student Organization) for students pursuing careers in business management, office administration, information technology and other related career fields.

The students have started an online fundraiser to help fund the trip to California.

“Due to tough economic times, our district has had to make cuts in several areas,” the students wrote on a fundraising website. “Unfortunately, competitions are one of those areas. As a result, we are trying to raise funds to send this dynamic group of students to national competition.”
