Hillcrest HS Freshman Bowler Earns All-Conference Honors

Congratulations to Hillcrest Bowler, freshman Dante Jones. Dante is the first freshman to earn All Conference honors in over 3 years! His consistency will have him traveling to the IHSA Regional at Orland Bowl with the Varsity Team. He placed 9th in the South Sububan Conference Blue Division boys’ bowling tourney with a total pinfall of 975 over 6 games. Dante’s 162 average was his personal best tournament of the year and his high game of 179 was his second highest of the year. “It is always great having a freshman earn All Conference Honors! Dante can now build on this experience next year and develop into an even greater bowler. He is a great student athlete and a role model for all of those around him,” stated Coach Robert Fantossi.
