During Tuesday night's National Night Out in front of City Hall, Oak Forest residents turned out to learn more about local law enforcement and emergency agencies.
To gain this insight, some residents went on tours of the Oak Forest Police Department, while others watched the Illinois State Police's "spin" car in action. This safety demonstration showed the importance of seatbelts and children's car seats.
