How Families Can Support Social and Emotional Learning for Your Child’s Success -- Reg. NOW for Sept. 7 Event!

Sunday, September 7, 1:00 p.m.- 2:30 p.m.

How Families Can Support Social and Emotional Learning for Your Child’s Success in School.  Come hear Dr. Ruth Cross share how you can make a positive impact on your child’s academic success by supporting social and emotional learning. Social and emotional skills are critical to being a good student, citizen and worker. Many risky behaviors (e.g., drug use, violence, bullying and dropping out) can be prevented or reduced when multiyear, integrated efforts are used to develop students' social and emotional skills. Learn how your involvement can play a significant role by encouraging student engagement in positive activities in and out of the classroom.  To register, or learn more, call 708.534.4024.
