Illinois' Most Diverse Public and Private Colleges

You may recently have seen a list of the state’s most diverse public high schools -- an increasingly important trait for the nation’s educational institutions.

Using Niche’s 2015 rankings, we’ve put together another list consisting of the most diverse universities in Illinois.

The list ranks both public and private colleges; check out which 36 are considered the most diverse for both faculty and students.

And speaking of diversity, our infographic will show you how much Illinois’ families have changed over the past 50 years, according to census records. From the average number and size of families to the most popular baby names, it’s pretty interesting.
