Ink For Good: Oak Forest Studio 'Tattooing For A Cause' In Support Of NAWS Humane Society
Silver Raven Tattoo will host a fundraiser offering $100 and $200 tattoo designs, with half of tattoo proceeds going to NAWS.

OAK FOREST, IL — An Oak Forest tattoo studio is bringing its creativity to a good cause, with a fundraiser set to benefit NAWS Humane Society.
Silver Raven Tattoo, 15701 S. Cicero Ave. will hold Tattooing for a Cause Sunday, Sept. 20—with half of proceeds on specifically priced and specially designed tattoos going to the Mokena nonprofit.
Adoptable pets will be on-site for meet-and-greets—in hopes of inking new adoption contracts.

Silver Raven co-owners Heidi Rago, Tom Biggs and Zaid Rashaida organized the fundraiser to support the NAWS mission of ending pet homelessness, suffering, and unnecessary pet euthanasia.
"We chose NAWS because they need more help, often being at capacity and committing to their no-kill standard," Rago told Patch.

From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 20, Silver Raven Tattoo will offer tattoo designs priced between $100 and $200, with 50 percent of the proceeds donated to NAWS. Custom design requests need to be submitted by Sept. 17, by email to silverraventattoos@gmail.com, as artists will not be able to draw the day of the fundraiser. Designs should be simple and animal-related, Rago said, and should take about 20–30 minutes to complete. The studio also offers pre-drawn designs that can be found on their Instagram.
Joey's Red Hots food truck will also be on-site, along with Bosco's Marketplace.
