Kolacki Chosen to Represent Bremen HS at HOBY Leadership Seminar
2015 Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Summer Series to be held at Loyola University, Chicago

Bremen High School is proud to announce that standout sophomore Alicia Kolacki has been chosen to represent Bremen High School at the 2015 Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) Summer Leadership Seminar Series. BHS Staff were invited to submit the names of sophomores whom they felt possessed the character and leadership qualities to be the HOBY ambassador for Bremen High School. HOBY is a state leadership seminar designed to empower high school sophomores to recognize their leadership talents and apply them to become effective, ethical leaders in their home, school, and community.
After a lengthy process of nominations, committee reviews, and a rigorous interview process, the committee compared the analysis of each candidate and selected Alicia Kolacki as the winner.
“The staff of Bremen High School provided us with a long list of sophomore students whom they feel represent the highest in character and integrity. Through a rigorous selection process and committee interviews, Alicia proved that she has the leadership and stewardship qualities to represent Bremen High School at the 2015 HOBY Summer Leadership Institute. We are proud to call her a Brave and are excited to see what the future holds for her!” said Bremen Assistant Principal Dr. Joseph Simone.
