Here at Patch, we know you love local. Members of Medina's former band The Able Body offer a behind-the-scenes peek at Medina's first performance on a local stage since leaving American Idol.
Local musician Chris Medina continues to make a name for himself, following his early dismissal from American Idol. With appearances on , , WCIU and more, his face is still popping up on fans' TV screens, even weeks after his elimination.
With under his belt, Medina is no stranger to suburban venues. A lead singer and guitarist who has honed his craft at local and Chicago venues for over 10 years, Medina has stood before audiences as the front-man of four different bands. He's grown a knack for sharing his skill with fans. His band The Able Body has performed at suburban venues and Chicago's Beat Kitchen, in addition to others.
But that was prior to his Idol-inspired fame.
