The
Oak Park Women’s Guild (OPWG) will host their 5th Annual Movie
Fundraiser at the Lake Theatre, located at 1022 Lake Street in downtown
Oak Park, in support of two-year old Amelia Paterson and her family. Amelia
suffered damage to her brain at just three weeks old and has since gone through
countless surgeries and therapy sessions. OPWG is presenting a special
screening of the family-friendly film “Despicable Me” (PG) on Saturday,
January 25, 2014 at 10 AM. Tickets are priced at $5 per person,
with children under two years of age
admitted for free; advance tickets can be purchased at the Lake Theatre Box
Office or online at http://www.classiccinemas.com.
Doors will open at 9 AM, so come early for a chance to win raffle prizes and bid
on auction items. All proceeds will go to support Amelia’s family. Supporters
