Large Quantity of Pot ,THC Oil Found During Search Warrant: Cops
Oak Forest police execute search warrant on man's home and find over 888 grams of cannabis and THC oil, prosecutor said.

OAK FOREST, IL -- Police found 888 grams of cannabis and THC oil in the spare bedroom of a rented home in Oak Forest, prosecutors said. Kevin Spiguzza, 29, appeared before Cook County Judge Peter Felice on a charge of possession of cannabis. Spiguzza was the subject of a search warrant.
Officers executed a search warrant Jan. 16 at Spiguzza’s home in the 16400 block of Harold St. Spiguzza was present during the search. Two large ziplock baggiess of cannabis were found in a lunch tote in a spare bedroom, the prosecutor said. Police also found six boxes containing 180 vials of THC oil, and another bag of cannabis and $960 cash in a backpack, according to the charges.
The assistant public defender told the judge that Spiguzza is a chemical engineer. Spiguzza has no prior criminal background.

“We’re not talking about a couple grams of marijuana here,” Felice said.
The judge set bail at $10,000. Spiguzza must also submit to random drug testing as a condition of bond. Spiguzza’s next court date is Feb. 13 in Bridgeview.

“Your days of cannabis are over for you,” Felice said.
