Every so often a group of people come together and decide to really make a difference; a selfless act derived from kindness and generosity that helps others. This is the case with Lemont Park District Preschool students.
Each year during the holiday season, Lemont Park District Preschool students participate in a holiday performance enjoyed by family and friends. Historically following the production, the children and families bring in treats and refreshments to be enjoyed after the show. This year, it was decided to put efforts into helping others instead. The students and their families brought in nonperishable food items that benefited local food pantries.
