Local seniors are invited to attend the Senior Commission's monthly luncheon, set for Thursday, June 25 at 11 a.m.Actress and historian Leslie Goddard will portray silent film star Mary Pickford, who has just retired from a film career that began in 1909 and that made her, over the course of nearly 200 films, "America's Sweetheart."Luncheon will be held at the Community Center, 15500 S. Kilpatrick Ave. Tickets are $4 at City Hall, 15440 Central Ave. Lunch and bingo will follow program.
