Metra Train Strikes, Kills Pedestrian in Oak Forest
The incident happened shortly after midnight.
A female pedestrian was struck and killed by a Metra train early Friday morning in Oak Forest.
The Rock Island train hit the pedestrian around 12:10 a.m., shortly after leaving the station at 159th and Cicero Avenue, Chicago Tribune reports.
The pedestrian’s identity and age were not available early Friday morning.
