Midlothian Passes Rain Ready Plan

Midlothian, IL, 1/28/16 – At the regularly scheduled board meeting last night Midlothian became the first in the nation to adopt the RainReady℠ Plan to address ongoing flooding issues that have plagued property owners for decades.

Through a partnership between local community group, Floodlothian Midlothian and the Center for Neighborhood Technology, the RainReady℠ Plan was developed, and over $1.3 million in outside funds have already been secured and an additional $8.3 million is expected to be approved.
