Midlothian Police & Fire Serve as Honorary Captains at the 2016 Bremen High School Homecoming Football Game!

BHS wanted to honor the brave men and women who serve the community

On Friday, September 9, 2016, Bremen High School celebrated homecoming at their annual homecoming football game. The homecoming game is a time for alumni and current students to gather around and be proud to be Braves! This year, not only did BHS honor their Hall of Fame inductees, but also the Midlothian Police and Fire Departments. Both departments had members of their staff serve as honorary captains at the game! “Bremen High School is proud of the community they belong to and wanted to find a way to honor the Police and Fire Departments during homecoming weekend, which took place on the 15th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks. Although our students may have been too young to remember the day that shook our Nation, it’s important we honor our fallen heroes and thank the ones we still have with us today,” said Bremen High School Principal Dr. Dave Kibelkis.
