Mother McAuley to Induct 7 Women to Its Hall of Honor

The induction ceremony will be part of the school's third annual Banner Year Reunion in November.

Seven women will be inducted into Mother McAuley’s Hall of Honor in November as part of its third annual Banner Year Reunion, according to a school press release.

The reunion will be Nov. 7 at the school, 3737 W. 99th St., Chicago. The induction ceremony will follow a 5 p.m. Mass.

McAuley’s Hall of Honor was created in 2013 as a way to inspire current and future students. This year’s inductees were chosen from more than 100 nominations.

The seven women who will be inducted include:

  • Sister Rosemary Connelly, RSM, executive director of Misericordia Heart of Mercy in Chicago.
  • Barbara McCann Bansley, ’50, a Chicago artist who died in 2009
  • Nancy Jean Coleman Mulcahy, ’64, co-founder of the Beverly Breast Cancer Walk
  • Anne Bigane Wilson, ’76, one of the first women enrolled in Purdue University’s Construction Engineering and Management program, president of Bigane Paving Co. since 1987 and chairwoman of Mother McAuley’s Board of Trustees
  • Theresa β€œTeri” Beran Kulat, ’80, attorney who founded Trinity Family Law, P.C.
  • Roberta β€œRobbie” Kuchler O’Shea, ’81, a licensed physical therapist and professor at Governors State University
  • Kathy Gordon Davis, an artist and faculty member in McAuley’s Art Department for more than 26 years

Early-bird tickets for the reunion are $40 and are on sale at the school’s website until Oct. 10. After that, tickets will be $45.
