NFL Draftee Donates Jacket Proceeds to Andrew Weishar Foundation
Former Notre Dame quarterback DeShone Kizer made the generous donation on the opening night of the NFL Draft.

OAK FOREST, IL - Among the winners of last week’s NFL Draft was The Andrew Weishar Foundation, which received a generous donation from one of the more popular draftees from the Midwest.
The foundation, which pays forward acts of kindness and generosity in memory of a former student at St. Damian in Oak Forest and Brother Rice High School who lost his battle with colorectal cancer at age 21, received the proceeds from the draft day jacket worn by DeShone Kizer, the former Notre Dame quarterback who was drafted in the second round of the draft by the Cleveland Browns with the No. 52 overall pick.
Irish Sports Daily reported on Kizer’s decision to support the foundation.
