Oak Forest Advances in 101.9 FM's Battle of the Burbs

Oak Forest has moved on into the Elite 8 of 101.9 FM's Battle of the Burbs, and now it needs your help!

The city trounced Glenview Wednesday and next faces Des Plaines in the voting contest. Voting for Oak Forest begins Thursday at 8 a.m. during "The Eric and Kathy Show."

To vote, text "OAK FOREST" to 60123, or visit the website once the competition begins. Voting lasts ONLY 10 minutes, so get those votes in fast! The winner then moves on to face the victor of Oswego vs. Schererville.

The Battle of the Burbs is a March Madness style competition that pits suburbs against one another for popular votes. The ultimate winning town will receive a trophy from the show's traffic reporter, Melissa, live on the air.
