Oak Forest Alderman Chuck Toland Resigns
The city alderman and onetime treasurer of the Oak Forest Raiders was in the news this week after a credit card spending snafu.

Oak Forest alderman Chuck Toland has resigned amid revelations of misspending within the Oak Forest Raiders association.
Toland says he mistakenly used the Raiders credit card on personal purchases, racking up close to $18,000 in expenses, while serving as treasurer of the youth sports organization.
Public reaction to the news led to his resignation.
