Oak Forest 'Church Ladies' Pierogi Sale Set Ahead Of Easter
No pre-orders. It's first come, first served on March 28 and 29.
OAK FOREST, IL — Those looking for a special treat for their Easter dinner table, some local, self-proclaimed "Church Ladies" again have you covered.
The “Church Ladies Test Kitchen” at the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection (15050 Central Ave., Oak Forest) is busy again gearing up for the 2026 Spring/Easter pierogi sale, and will have the pierogi ready in time for your Easter dinner. All the familiar flavors are back by popular demand.
It's first come, first served, and the beloved pierogi sell out fast every year. The ladies will serve up a variety of flavors, all for $8 per 1/2 dozen. There will not be a pre-order option. Payment by cash, check, or Zelle only.

Proceeds support the church community's ministries.
"Come grab your favorite flavors and stock your freezer while supplies last," the group said.

Sale dates are set for March 28, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and March 29, 12 to 2 p.m. A bake sale also returns.
Flavors include:
- Potato
- Meat
- Sweet cheese
- Spinach
- Savory cheese
- Mushroom
- Kraut
- Blueberry
