The “Church Ladies Test Kitchen” at the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection (15050 Central Ave., Oak Forest) invite you to skip the roses and say “I love you” with pierogi! They're holding a one-day-only Flash Homemade Pierogi Super Sale at the church on Saturday, Feb. 7, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

"Whether you're sweet on Sweet Cheese or crushing on Kraut, we've got a flavor for every kind of love: potato, kraut, meat, spinach, Sweet cheese, peach/strawberry, and blueberry.

The price is also cut to $5 per half dozen, "lovingly handmade and ready to warm hearts (and bellies)!"
