Sibley Animal Hospital is an independently owned, full-service veterinary hospital located at 1020 Sibley Blvd in Calumet City, Illinois. Serving the community for more than 50 years, the hospital provides wellness care and comprehensive medical care to pets throughout southeast Chicago and northwest Indiana. The practice is dedicated to delivering personalized, high-quality treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of every animal and their parents. The hospital offers a wide range of services, including wellness exams, vaccinations, spay, neuter, declaw, and other routine surgical procedures, orthopedic and other more complex soft tissue procedures-internal and external, dental radiographs with ultrasonic dental cleaning, periodontal procedures, tooth extractions, and advanced diagnostic testing- including abdominal ultrasound. More complex surgeries include but are not limited to orthopedic -fracture repair options, patella luxation repair, hip dysplasia surgical options, and bone biopsy; abdominal- cystotomy, splenectomy, enterotomy, intestinal resection and anastomosis, gastropexy, and abdominal organ biopsy; oral- soft palate resection, oral tumors; and ears- TECA (total ear canal ablation)surgical procedures. Cardiac ultrasound services are also offered in partnership with a board-certified veterinary cardiologist group-Synchrony which provides more cost effective and timely diagnostics. They also use a combination of Western, Integrative, and Eastern medicine to provide the best options for pets and extend their quality of life. Patients can expect a compassionate, collaborative environment where pet owners are actively involved in their companion's treatment strategy. To support accessible care, the hospital offers Snout Wellness Plans for preventive health through all life stages, flexible payment options through Cherry and more affordable options than many corporate, speciality, and emergency hospitals offer. Whether seeking routine check-ups, vaccinations or specialized medical attention, clients can rely on the hospital's experienced staff for knowledgeable and friendly support. Urgent care hours are from 5-6pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday with routine wellness and vaccination visits during this time as well.
