Oak Forest Couple Stabbed at Bus Stop in Harvey

The man tried to break up a dispute between his wife and several men at the bus stop. Then someone pulled a knife.

An Oak Forest couple was stabbed Sunday at a bus stop in nearby Harvey.

The couple reportedly drove themselves to Oak Forest Health Center, after they had been stabbed by several men at a stop at Park Avenue and 159th Street in Harvey, Daily Southtown reports.

Police interviewed the victims—a 36-year-old man and his wife. The wife had called her husband for a ride from the bus stop, and when he arrived, the two scuffled with three or four men. The husband was then stabbed in the hand; the wife sustained a stab wound to the neck.
