Oak Forest EMA Needs Volunteers

OAK FOREST, IL — The Oak Forest Emergency Management Agency is looking to add to its volunteer team of people responsible for preparing and coordinating responses to emergencies.

Since 1962 the EMA has provided equipment and volunteer manpower during disasters and emergency situations, according to the city of Oak Forest website. Volunteers work primarily out of the city's Emergency Operations Center on 157th Street next to the city's Public Works Department.
