
Oak Forest High School's Student Council has announced the exciting events coming to present and past Bengals during Homecoming week, September 6-9 as they celebrate to the theme, "A Wild Night Out." Tuesday's activities include homecoming hall decorations. Freshmen will decorate with the theme of desert, Sophomores - tundra, Juniors - jungle, and Seniors - beach. Student dress on Tuesday is designated camouflage to further show their spirit. Wednesday is Beachwear Spirit Day and hall decorations will be judged with winners announced at the Homecoming Assembly, held on Friday. Also on Wednesday at 6:30 pm, students will compete in the traditional Powder Puff Game. Thursday is Spirit Day. Each class will wear their class colors: Freshmen - red, Sophomores - blue, Juniors - white, and Seniors - black. The winners will be announced at the Homecoming Assembly, held on Friday. Additionally, Thursday is the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in the Instructional Materials Center at 2:40. This year, Colonel Kevin Madden, Class of 1977, will be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Friday is Spirit Day. Students will wear black and gold spirit wear. The Homecoming Assembly starts at 2:10 and the Parade starts after school at 4 pm, and before the big football games against the Tinley Park Titans. The Varsity Game will be at 7 pm and the sophomore game is at 5 pm. Half-time events start at 8 pm! The week culminates with the Homecoming Dance on Saturday from 7-10 pm. Pictures will be starting at 6:30 pm. Past, present, and future Bengals are all looking forward to the exciting "Wild Night Out" homecoming events!”
