Oak Forest HS Art Club Participates in Community Art Event

Mural is entitled 'Opportunity Knocks At Oak Forest High School'

Oak Forest High School Senior Neydi Juarez and Junior Tina Antonopoulos paint their part of the mural entitled “Opportunity Knocks at Oak Forest High School” on a door that is part of the an Oak Forest Community Arts Event. Individual artists and community groups were asked to decorate or paint doors with the theme “Opportunity Knocks in Oak Forest.” The OFHS Art Club chose to interpret the theme as, “Opportunity Knocks at Oak Forest High School.” The door represents all of the academic, athletic, artistic and social opportunities available to all OFHS students. Students who contributed to the complete of the door are: Tina Antonopoulos, Neydi Juarez, Jajuanna Marks, and graduates Lizzy Samoska, Alana Colby, Sabrina Humphrey and Jackie Villarreal. The doors are on display on the northwest corner of Cicero and 159th Street.
