Oak Forest HS Athletes Sign Letters of Intent
Ellis, Beardsley, and Garza will all compete at the colligate level
Three Oak Forest High School Senior Athletes signed letters of intent to play sports at the college level in the fall.
Emily Ellis signed her letter of intent to play volleyball for Concord University. Ellis is going to be playing for Coach Katie Southcott. Her major is undecided at this time. Oak Forest High School Athletic Director Ron Towner, Assistant Coach Kristina Blair, Emily's father Walter Ellis, mother Latasha Simmons, and Coach Abby Nelson were on hand to wish her well in her next athletic adventure.
Jenna Beardsley signed her letter of intent to dance on the dance team at University of Illinois at Chicago. Beardsley will be working on the dance team for Coach Lindsey Lococo. She will major in kinesiology. Oak Forest High School Athletic Director Ron Towner, OFHS Coach Bajer, Jenna's mother Sue Ann Beardsley, father Brooks Beardsley, OFHS Coach Beardsley, and OFHS Coach Bussie were on hand to witness the signing.

Carlos Garza signed his letter of intent to wrestle for Millikin University next year. Garza will be wrestling for Coaches Erik Hanson and Ryan Birt at the 125 lb. level. He has an undecided major. Oak Forest High School Athletic Director Ron Towner, Coach Shawn Forst, Parents Mark and Sandra Brasher, Assistant Coach Bob Bohaczyk, and Assistant Athletic Director Jake Thormeyer were on hand to congratulate Carlos as he made this important commitment.
