Oak Forest HS Athletes Sign Letters of Intent

Dan Ryan, Brittany Bourne, and Rebecca Hagadus will play collegiate sports next year

Congratulations to Oak Forest High School Senior Athletes Dan Ryan, Brittany Bourne, and Rebecca Hagadus who signed their letters of intent recently to play collegiate sports next year with the full support of OFHS Principal Dr. Brad Sikora, Athletic Director Ron Towner, and Assistant Athletic Director Mike Brown, as well as their coaches Lee Rucinski, Cassie Gaines, and Christine DiVenti. Dan Ryan, the son of Mike and Michelle Ryan of Oak Forest, signed next year to play volleyball at Trinity Christian College. Although he played middle here at OF for Coach Lee Rucinski, he is keeping his options open so that Trinity Volleyball Coach Jim Butski can use him on the court where he is needed. While he is at Trinity, Dan plans to study for a criminal justice major. Brittany Bourne, the daughter of Paula and Tim Bourne of Oak Forest, also signed to play volleyball next year at Millikin University. She was an outside hitter here at OF under Coach Cassie Gaines and anticipates working along the same lines for Millikin Coach Debra Kiick. She plans to study hard for a Business degree while playing volleyball. Rebecca Hagadus, the daughter of Rose and Jim Hagadus of Oak Forest, signed to cheer at the University of Oklahoma next year. This marks the first time a cheerleader has signed a letter of intent from Oak Forest High School to play collegiate sports! Rebecca worked as a backspot on the cheer team at OF under Coach Christine DiVenti and will work in either as a backspot or as a side base for University of Oklahoma Coach Miranda Noel. While Rebecca is at the University of Oklahoma, she plans to major in nursing. Good luck next year in your collegiate sports Dan, Brittany, and Rebecca!
