Oak Forest HS Band and Choir Perform at Windy City Thunderbolts Game

Band and Choir members celebrate the conclusion of summer camp at baseball game

The Oak Forest High School Band and Choir performed recently at a Windy City Thunderbolts game at Standard Bank Stadium in Crestwood, as a way to celebrate the end of summer music camp. The choir performed the National Anthem and the band performed selections from their first halftime show. The Oak Forest High School Vocal director, Mr. Victor Pazik, threw out the first pitch of the game. The directors had other reasons to celebrate as well. “It was a great night out,” Oak Forest High School Band Director Mr. Nick Rojek said. “The boosters raised $350 towards student accounts and the Thunderbolts won 3-2.”
