Oak Forest HS Boys' Bowling Team Sweeps Oak Lawn Invitational
The Fresh/Soph Team has a record of 11-1, while Varsity is 10-2
The Oak Forest High School Fresh/Soph Bowling team swept the Oak Lawn Invitational recently, receiving 1st Place for the tournament! The Varsity team did well also, receiving 2nd Place at the tournament. Notable individuals were Justin Chojnowski and Matt Hannafin, who medaled individually. Also, OFHS Varsity Bowler Austin Nielsen medaled individually. The Oak Forest High School Boys’ Bowling teams have been doing extremely well lately, pulling in a 11-1 record for the Fresh/Soph team and a 10-2 record for the Varsity team. The OFHS Varsity team members are Ryan Ahlgrim, Carter Mottl, Austin Nielsen, Tom Spencer, Andy Marcheschi, Jordan Ahlgrim, and Barakah Hassell. The OFHS Fresh/Soph team members are Justin Chojnowski, Zack Olkiewicz, Derrick Dian, James Ostrowski, Matthew Hannafin, Jeff Willeford, and Jake Kincade. The Varsity team goes on to compete at the Regional, Sectional and State levels in the following weeks. With the record that the team has, the chances of competing all the way to State is very good! The OFHS Boys’ Bowling team is coached by OFHS teacher Matt Spreadbury and Assistant Coached by Peter Spreadbury.
