Dr. Brad Sikora, Principal of Oak Forest High School announced that 360 students participated in the annual commencement ceremonies held Tuesday. May 20 at the Tinley Park Convention Center. This Senior class’s motto was “Don’t Count the Days: Make the Days Count.” In attendance at the ceremony were friends and families of the graduates, faculty members, and Board of Education members to witness this special event. The Valedictorian address was delivered by Erika Arias and the Salutatorian address was delivered by Jordan Hoang. The Senior choir sang “Gone Gone Gone” by Phillip Phillips and the Senior band played “Time to Say Goodbye” by Andrea Bocelli. The top ten Senior students were: Erika Arias, Jordan Hoang, Jason Marvin, Leanne Latocha, Sara Papiez, Akash Jani, Antoinette Samoska, Brittany Schramm, David Kawulia, and Peter Boyajian. The Senior class officers were President Peter Arriz, Vice President Martin Kelly, Secretary Brittany Schramm, and Treasurer Akash Jani.
