This was the ninth year that the team volunteered with the American Cancer Society

The Oak Forest High School Varsity Cheerleaders joined a record number of people at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, held recently in Orland Park.
The State Winning OFHS Varsity Cheerleaders were on hand to volunteer their time to help out with the event. This year is the ninth year that the team has volunteered with the American Cancer Society.
According to Coach Christine DiVenti, “The girls helped with asking participants to sign waivers to help ACS with government funding, worked at a table where they spray painted hair paint and gave out breast cancer ribbon tattoos, did a small performance during the opening ceremony, and cheered the walkers on as the began and finished the walk.”
