Oak Forest HS Coaches Celebrated

Recognition of athletic and activity coaches commitment to student success

Oak Forest High School Activity and Sports Coaches were recognized at the annual recognition breakfast held on October 22, hosted by Activities Director Dr. Savka Mladenovich and Athletic Director Ron Towner. Special awards were given to several teachers with many years of sponsoring the same activity.
Ms. Lori Shemoski was honored for 20 years of sponsoring the sophomore class. Also, Dr. Savka Mladenovich was honored for 25 years of being the Leadership Program Coordinator.

Among the teachers that have spent 10 years working on their activity or sport are: Ms. Amy Bertrand (Student Council), Mr. Dan Chambers (Art Club), Ms. Melanie Gengo (Assistant Mathletes Coach),
Mr. Victor Pazik (Choral Director/Assistant Play Director), Mr. Jason Thormeyer (Football and Wrestling).

Mr. Lee Rucinski (Boys’ Volleyball) and Mr. Matt Spreadbury (Varsity Club) were honored for having sponsored the same activity or sport for five years.
