Oak Forest HS Collects Toys for Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation

Hope Children's Hospital is one of many recipients of the toys

Oak Forest High School staff and students, along with Santa, pose behind the mounds of toys collected to support the Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation in the toy drive that ran at Oak Forest High School through December 12. This year, 1,250 toys were collected for many locations, including Hope Children’s Hospital. Since the creation of the toy drive in 2003, Oak Forest High School has remained the top leader in toy donations for this cause. The OFHS Snowball Club, led by Ken Valiska, and Rotary-Interact Club, led by Brian McDonough, spearheaded the toy drive.
