Oak Forest HS Cross Country Team Takes 1st Place at Quad Meet

The Freshman/Sophomore Team dominated their first meet of the season

Congratulations to the Oak Forest High School Freshman/Sophomore Cross Country Team who dominated their first meet of the year, the District 228 Quad. "Four teams competed and the Fresh/Soph team ended up taking home the 1st Place trophy,” said teacher Gary Andruch. Sophomores who competed were: Alex Anguiano, Derrick Bagnara, Ben Howe, Zac Maher, Shawn Niazi, Sam Ochoa, and Raj Patel. Freshmen who competed were: Nick Leahy, Tim Moran, Austin Nielsen, and Mike Reif. Medalists for the Fresh/Soph team were Ben Howe, Raj Patel, Mike Reif, and Nick Leahy. Other notable accomplishments were made by OFHS Varsity runners Al Ochoa and Tyler Vrba, who also took home medals from the District 228 Quad.
