Oak Forest HS Drama Club to Present The Addams Family Musical
The musical will take place April 20-21 at 7pm and April 22 at 2pm at Oak Forest High School
The Oak Forest High School Drama Group is furiously preparing the Spring Musical, The Addams Family, which is set to open on April 20-21 at 7pm and April 22 at 2pm.
The Addams Family follows the characters from the beloved TV show of the same name. What many people don’t know, however, is that the TV show is based off of a single panel cartoon by Charles Addams depicting a ghoulish family with a predilection for everything macabre.
In the musical, The Addams Family, daughter Wednesday Addams has fallen in love with a normal boy named Lucas. They want their families to meet and have dinner together so that they can announce that they are going to marry. As things go in musicals, everything goes awry, and that’s where the comedy heads into high gear! You will have to see the musical to find out what happens in this quirky, fun, comedic musical which is fun for the whole family.
