Oak Forest HS Drama Group Entertained Audiences with 'Little Shop of Horrors'

Oak Forest High School Drama Group entertained audiences last weekend with “Little Shop of Horrors,” the story of how a shop clerk inadvertently stumbles upon a plant from outer space with a taste for blood….human blood. In this scene, Seymour, played by OFHS Senior Al Joritz, shares a duet with the bloodthirsty plant, voiced by OFHS Senior David Kozak and puppeted by Sophomore Billy Altier. The plant, named Audrey II, after Seymour’s love interest Audrey, is begging Seymour to “Feed ME!” Of course, the plant is really begging for blood! Audiences left the show humming the big numbers and the final choral reminder to, “Don’t Feed the Plants!” The show was directed by OFHS teachers John Stevens and assisted by Victor Pazik, Edgar Gonzalez-Baeza, and Nick Rojek.
