Oak Forest High School theatre audiences are in for a treat with the new fall play, Curious Savage. Curious Savage will be performed on October 28, 29 and 30.
Curious Savage is the story of a newly rich widow, Mrs. Savage, who has been bequeathed ten million dollars by her husband. Her conniving stepchildren want to get their hands on her money and commit her to a sanitarium so that she will come to her senses. Mrs. Savage meets various social misfits at the sanitarium and realizes that she can help them adjust to normal life. Leading her stepchildren on a merry chase for her money, Mrs. Savage establishes a fund where she supports others to realize their hopes and dreams. The show is very funny and it will be well worth your time when you see it!
Breanne Morrissey plays the lead role of Mrs. Ethel P. Savage. Dawn Lubaton plays Florence Williams, Emily Marcheschi plays Fairy May, Canyon Novick plays Jeffrey, Chris Jackowiak plays Hannibal, Breanna Horvath plays Mrs. Paddy, Millie McMahon plays Titus, Kinsey Carrera plays Lily Belle, Shaina Spinks plays Samuel, Tessa Damien plays Dr. Emmett, and Jessica Weaver plays Miss Willie.

Tickets are available at the door for Curious Savage and will be $6 for students and senior citizens and $8 for adults. Performance times are 7pm on October 28 and 29, and 2pm on October 30.
The play is directed by Oak Forest High School teacher John Stevens, and assisted by Victor Pazik. The technical director is Edgar Gonzalez-Baeza.
