Oak Forest HS Football Players Sign Letters of Intent

Perez, Russell, and Cervantes will play collegiate football

Congratulations to Oak Forest High School Football players Jacob Perez, Zach Russell, and Jack Cervantes, who signed letters of intent to play collegiate football. Jacob Perez will play football at Benedictine University. He will be playing fullback and defensive tackle for Coach Sears. While at Benedictine, Jacob will be taking course requirements and is an undecided major so far. Jacob is the son of Dawn and Mike Perez of Oak Forest. Zach Russell will play football for Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa. Zach will be working as a wide receiver on the team for Coach Helminiak. While at Loras, Zach will be studying for a sports management degree. Zach is the son of Lauren and Brian Russell of Midlothian. Jack Cervantes will play football at Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin. He will be a punter for Coach Krzykowski. While at Carroll University, he will be studying for a physical therapy degree. Jack is the son of Paul and Lynn Cervantes in Oak Forest. Oak Forest High School Principal Brad Sikora, Athletic Director Ron Towner, Assistant Athletic Director and Football Coach Jake Thormeyer and Head Football Coach Brian McDonough were on hand to congratulate each student.
