Oak Forest HS Inducts New Members into National Honor Society

Oak Forest High School National Honor Society Sponsor Kelly Henry announced that the OFHS National Honor Society inducted 79 new members at a special induction ceremony held Wednesday, October 12 at Gaelic Park in Oak Forest.

After opening remarks from Principal Dr. Brad Sikora, the ceremony included remarks by National Honor Society President Alejandro Rivas about the Four Goals of the National Honor Society. The First Vice President Ni’Gere Epps talked about scholarship, the Second Vice President Nathan McGovern spoke about service, Secretary Kailee Kozicki spoke about leadership, and Treasurer Patrick Cooke spoke about character. Senior Honor Guard Members consisted of Gretchen Behrens, Clujel Bellon, Mike Coppolillo, Matt Donley, Jordan Hughes, Allison Isom, Cassie Larsen, and Nicole Neri. Mr. David Neuman, President of the OFHS Alumni Association was the honored keynote speaker at the ceremony.
