Oak Forest HS Madrigals Flash Mob at Portillo's
Line by line, different vocal parts started to join in and gained the attention of guests visiting the restaurant

The Oak Forest Madrigal Singers had the opportunity to perform at the Tinley Park Portillo’s restaurant for Family night. Family nights happen on Tuesday nights at 6pm. A variety of activities are offered such as: Families may dine while a balloon artist comes around to tables or they can enter raffles to win Portillo’s gear. Senior Cassandra Greenhill, also a Portillo’s employee, arranged for the Madrigal Singers to provide the entertainment to help get the news out about the upcoming Madrigal Dinner, which took place on December 3rd and 4th. General Manager Stacie Richardson invited the group to perform. When the day of the performance came, the Madrigals decided to surprise the crowd of guests by performing a flash mob of “Carol of the Bells” to kick off the performance. The Madrigal King, played by Senior Tessa Damien, and the Madrigal Queen, played by Senior Amelia Sorenson, began the performance. Line by line, different vocal parts started to join in and eventually gained the attention of guests visiting the restaurant. The Madrigals enjoyed a nice dinner as a group afterwards.
