Oak Forest HS Marching Band and Choir Perform at Thunderbolts Game

Drum Major Nathan McGovern chosen to throw out first pitch

The crack of the bat and the roar of the crowd was in the ears of the Oak Forest Fine Arts Department as they performed at the Windy City Thunderbolts baseball game this summer.

Both the OFHS Marching Band and the OFHS Choir students participated in this exciting opportunity. The Marching Band entertained the crowd with selections from their upcoming 2015 marching season. According to Oak Forest High School Band Director Nick Rojek, “The band played the OFHS Fight Song, Uma Thurman by Fall Out Boy, and Shake it Off by Taylor Swift.”

OFHS Choir students, directed by music teacher Victor Pazik, performed the National Anthem for a packed stadium crowd before the game.
