Oak Forest HS NHS Students Welcome Parents to Parent-Teacher Conferences
Students supplied maps to the parents and directed them to classrooms

Oak Forest High School National Honor Society students Ryan Chismark, Luke Sajewski, and Alyssa Velazquez welcome parents as they enter the doors of Oak Forest High School on Parent-Teacher Conferences, held October 5 at Oak Forest High School. Chismark, Sajewski and Velazquez gave parents maps to the buildings and welcomed parents with a smile and directed them to the first class on their student’s class list. Many parents took advantage of the day to visit their student’s teachers, who were stationed in their classrooms and in the IMC, ready to talk to parents about their student. Parent-Teacher Conference Veteran Luke Sajewski, a senior and a second-year member of National Honor Society, showed Ryan Chismark and Alyssa Velasquez, both juniors and first-year members of National Honor Society, the ropes of what to do on this important night. Other National Honor Society members stationed themselves in the hallway to give directions and others sat at the snack table that was filled with tempting treats for parents and teachers. Oak Forest High School teacher Kelly Henry is the sponsor of National Honor Society.
