Oak Forest HS Spring Community Art Show
Show runs April 26-29, with a reception open to the public on Tuesday, April 26
Oak Forest High School Art Students Joey Mora, Holly Holtam, David Kozak and Samantha Wikberg display their paper mache masks they made in preparation for the Oak Forest High School Community Art Show. Artwork that can be viewed at the OFHS Spring Community Art Show will feature two-dimensional drawing and painting and three-dimensional ceramics and sculpture. Art Teacher Dan Chambers has expanded the show this year to feature community members as well as Oak Forest High School students. Honored community participants are Patricia Kuzel’s students from Scarlet Oak Elementary and Morton Gingerwood Elementary; Kerry Jo Mueller’s students from Kerkstra Elementary and Lee R. Foster Elementary; and Lynn Reising’s students from St. Damian Middle School.
The artwork will be on display for the week of April 25-29 in the OFHS IMC. There will be a reception open to the public on Tuesday, April 26th from 6:30-8:30. Tours to the OFHS art room will be available.
