Oak Forest HS Students Earn Sheriff's Youth Service Medal of Honor

Seven OFHS students volunteered a minimum of 100 hours of community service

Oak Forest High School students Joseph Crosetto, Matthew Donley, Alex Holewa, Marley Majetic, Tara Neylon, Nick Trupes, and Aya Hasan have earned the Sheriff’s Youth Service Medal of Honor. This program was established by Sheriff Thomas Dart to recognize youth that have volunteered a minimum of 100 hours of service during the previous year. The students who meet the necessary criteria are honored at a ceremony where they get their Youth Service Medal of Honor from Sheriff Dart. The 2015 Youth Medal of Honor recipients have contributed over 45,000 hours of service to a variety of agencies and organizations throughout Cook County.
