The ceremony was officiated by Drama Director John Stevens and OFHS Thespian Vice-President Ronan Morrissey. The officers that were elected are members that have served in the Thespian Society for a year or more. The elected officers for the 2017-2018 year are: Breanne Morrissey (President), Shaina Spinks (Vice-President), Emily Marcheschi (Historian), and Kinsey Carrera (Secretary). Earning the Honor Thespian designation this year were: Tessa Damien, Ema Kester, Millicent McMahon, Breanne Morrissey, Shaina Spinks, and Jessica Weaver. Earning the International Honor Thespian designation, an award category that is not awarded every year because of the overwhelming amount of points a student has to earn, was Ronan Morrissey. The International Thespian Society is a dramatic honor society for students who participate in drama, stage crew, or in pit band. Students accrue points per show and when they earn ten points they are invited to join the society. The Thespian Society is led by Drama Director John Stevens and Assistant Drama Director Victor Pazik.
