Oak Forest High School Sets Homecoming Activities Schedule
Oak Forest High School Student Council Sponsor Amy Bertrand announced the exciting Oak Forest High School Homecoming event schedule for Homecoming week, September 22-27. The theme for this year is “Toon into Homecoming”
The week features several dress up spirit days. Monday is Spirit day: freshmen wear red, sophomores wear blue, juniors wear white, and seniors wear black. Tuesday is Nick at Nite Pajama Party Day. Wednesday is Wacky Wednesday, Thursday is Nerdy Nickelodeon Day, and Friday is Black and Gold spirit day.
Events are scheduled to celebrate the wonderful spirit that Oak Forest High School students possess. Monday is the Power puff game on the football field at 6:30 pm. Tuesday and Wednesday the students will be decorating the hall with hall decorations. The freshman hallway has a Rugrats theme, the sophomore hallway has a Scooby Doo theme, the junior hallway has a Fairly Odd Parents theme, and the senior hallway has a Spongebob theme.

Friday features the school Homecoming assembly and the Homecoming parade. At the Homecoming assembly, the Homecoming King and Queen will be announced. Friday is also the day of the exciting football games against the TF North Meteors. The sophomore game starts at 5:00 pm and the varsity game is at 7:00 pm. Varsity half-time events will be held at 8:00 pm.
Saturday, the Homecoming festivities conclude at the Homecoming dance.
